The big screen at Chesterfield Football Club will feature the Ashgate Hospice branding this season.
The North Derbyshire charity’s branding has been installed around the screen at the Technique Stadium.
Jason Elliott, who is a former vice-chairman of the club, has generously provided the sponsorship as a donation to the hospice.
Commercial manager Jim Brown said: “Our grateful thanks go to Jason for providing sponsorship which will help to raise the
profile of Ashgate Hospice.
“Jason has provided the club with valuable financial support over the years and this is a great gesture to help Ashgate Hospice.”
Ashgate has worked with The Spirerites on previous projects in recent years, with the hospice’s popular Sparkle Night Walk starting there each year.
The club also allows the charity’s fundraisers to bucket collect outside and inside the stadium at games throughout the season.
Charlotte Gratton, Partnerships Manager at Ashgate Hospice, said: “On behalf of everyone at Ashgate Hospice, we are so grateful to Jason for supporting the hospice in this special way.
“The advertising of this scoreboard is a great gift which will raise awareness of the care we provide throughout the community.
“We know how important it is that our community know the hospice is there for them and their loved ones and showcasing this at Chesterfield Football Club is a brilliant way to reinforce that we are here to provide care and support to our community when they need us most.”
