At Ashgate Hospice, our vision is for everyone with a life-limiting or incurable condition to be able to live well and experience a good death. This vision shapes the care we provide to thousands of people every year.

What defines a good death is deeply personal and unique to each one of us. We respect everyone’s rights to make choices about their care, within the law as it stands at the time. The ongoing parliamentary debates on assisted dying highlight how important these choices are to many people, including the community we serve in North Derbyshire.
