Ashgate Hospice has been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) – and not only that, we scored 100% in four out of five areas!
The CQC is the independent body that inspects and regulates health and social care services across England. Their role is to ensure that care is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. After a detailed assessment, they recognised Ashgate as an exceptional hospice, highlighting the dedication and compassion of our One Ashgate team.

How your support helps us stay Outstanding
Ashgate Hospice is only able to provide this level of care thanks to the generosity of our community. Just 31% of our funding comes from local NHS budgets – the rest comes from donations, fundraising, and our charity shops.
