Why we need your support
Shopping with us or donating items for us to sell helps fund our compassionate care.
could pay for one hour of dedicated care for one of our patients on the Inpatient Unit.
could fund two hours of a specialist homecare visit.
could help us support a family through their grief, and help them come to terms with the death of a loved one.
I cannot tell you the gratitude and appreciation my family have for Ashgate Hospice – all the staff and volunteers who make it such a warm, happy, caring place.
We were both so impressed with the care the hospice gave, not just to my wife Glennis, but to our whole family.
They took us all under their wing in those final weeks – and they gave us precious time together that was as special as it could have possibly been.
I love my job. I’ve cared for people for 32 years now, the last 15 here at the hospice. It’s a privilege to play a part in such a private and vulnerable time of someone’s life; we treat everyone like they are our own family.
Sadly, every life must come to an end. But with your help, we can give our patients peace, comfort and dignity in their final moments.
We understand that not everybody is able to donate today. You can find out about other ways you can help support the hospice at this time. Alternatively, our Fundraising Team are always happy to speak to you and answer any questions you may have. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call on 01246 567250 or email fundraising@ashgatehospice.org.uk.
