The Louise Smalley Walk is an annual sponsored challenge walk, 40 miles in length starting and finishing in Whitwell.
The walk is held to raise money for local charities and this year walkers will be raising money for Ashgate Hospice.
This year, walkers will be taking on the Heritage round route. This is a fantastic circular walk which will start, and end, at the Royal Oak in Whitwell. The 40 miles will take walkers through a range of historic locations with the local area.
The level of this walk is tough. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure that they are fit and able to take part in this walk. You should always seek advice from your GP before taking up a strenuous physical pursuit such as this.
All walkers must be aged 14 or over the day of the walk. If a walker is under 18, an email address for the parent/guardian who will be responsible for the walker on the day must be provided. All applications must be received (including entry fees) by 31 May 2022
You can find out more information about the walk and enter by visiting here.
Please note this event is in support of Ashgate Hospice and not organised by the charity.
