Sponsor a star this Christmas

This Christmas, the front of the hospice building will be home to stars that will be shining brightly for our patients, those important to them, and our staff and volunteers. Your star will shine bright until the twelfth night.

It is a really lovely opportunity to support the hospice this Christmas, the winter season is notorious for steep increases in referrals to our care and this year we anticipate demand will be even higher than ever.

We are also offering you the chance to sponsor a mini star to display proudly on your premises, at your place of work or at home. In return for your support, we will provide you with your very own battery-powered light-up star, which can be affixed to a window on your premises.

Shine bright above Ashgate Hospice when you sponsor a star this Christmas

By sponsoring a star, your organisation will help our nurses to be there for patients and their families over the difficult coming months and help us cope with the increased demand for our care.

A star with your organisation’s name on it could shine brightly on the Ashgate Hospice building from 30 November throughout the Christmas period.

Your star will be easily identifiable with a bespoke gift tag featuring your organisation’s name or logo.

£1,000 – Star on the front and centre over the hospice’s main entrance doors – SOLD OUT

£500 – Star on the side of the main entrance doors – SOLD OUT

£250 – Star on the curved wall outside Day Services or to the left of the hospice’s main entrance doors – SOLD OUT

Your sponsorship

  • Your star will be identified with a bespoke gift tag with your company name or logo
  • Your star will shine brightly on the front of the hospice
  • You will be invited to our Light up a Life procession and event
  • On Sunday 7 December, your star will be seen by our supporters who attend the Light Up A Life procession and light event to remember their loved ones
  • We will celebrate all our kind star sponsors on a social media post on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, where we will tag in your organisation with a reach of over 29,500 people
  • We will provide you with a photo of your star with a hospice nurse so that you can share this with your clients, customers and followers.

We are also offering you the opportunity to sponsor a mini star, which you can display in a window on your premises, at your place of work, or at home – minimum donation of £50.
