Ashgate Hospice > COVID-19: Latest update from Ashgate Hospice

Due to increasing demand for our frontline services, we are redeploying all available staff to support our Inpatient Unit and Community Nursing Team. Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily change the following services:

  • Our Day Hospice services are running a reduced service for current patients and are pausing new referrals.
  • Our lymphoedema service have postponed all face-to-face appointments and are running a reduced telephone service for consultation and support three days per week. If you need support from the team, please email [email protected] This inbox will be checked at regular intervals by a member of the team.
  • Our physiotherapy and occupational therapy services are operating under significant pressure and are processing urgent referrals only. As a result, this may take us longer than we would like to respond. 

We would like to thank patients and their families for the understanding they have shown thus far. We will continue to update you on our services over the coming days.
